The story
A whole exam room, painted in just three days. Patients ER in Dayton wanted the room where they treat children to feel warm, local and fun, so we wrapped every wall in hometown pride. Giant “DAYTON” and “LIBERTY” letters are filled with local favorites (school mascots, a squirrel, a deer, a sunflower, a steam train, bluebonnets and the Dayton water tower) above the area’s river bridges. A Liberty Bell and a column of Dayton history stars finish the room.
It was a rush job: we worked about 12 hours a day to finish on time, and the result is a room where young patients can spot pieces of their own town while they’re being cared for.
From the client
“She listened to our story and created the most special design for the room where we treat children. The room is warm, inviting and brings a local feel to help our young patients feel comfortable and at home.”
— Ashley Shibley, Director of Marketing & Communications, Patients ER & Hospital
